Uncurbed Collective

Uncurbed Collective began life as Proud & Loud Arts, founded in 2000 by a group of young disabled artists with a drive to create and perform.

Over time, they’ve grown – as people, as artists, and as a collective. Over the past 25 years, they’ve provoked conversation, challenged “the accepted”, told stories rarely seen in theatre, and built a collective of disabled artists who continue to reshape what art can be.

Their work, ambitions, and identity has evolved. In 2025, they chose a new name together: Uncurbed Collective. A name that speaks to unapologetic freedom, creativity, and a future they’re shaping together.

The brief

Design and build a website to fit their new brand identity, while acknowledging their origins.

The solution

I worked closely with Uncurbed Collective throughout the discovery, wireframing and design phases of the project to arrive at a design we all loved. The website was then built using WordPress. Leveraging the power of the WordPress Block Editor, I designed and built a set of custom blocks to extend the core block library.

What I did

  • Responsive Design
  • UX
  • Web Design
