Stretford Public Hall

Stretford Public Hall is a community-owned, multi-purpose building. with the aim to create space for good things to happen in Stretford.

The hall is run by Friends of Stretford Public Hall, who have owned the building since a community asset transfer in 2015, and are a charitable Community Benefit Society which is a type of co-operative. They provide accessible community space and deliver our own programme of events and activities, including arts activities, live music nights, community cinema, and health and wellbeing activities.

The brief

A brand new website for Stretford Public Hall with a fresh, modern feel to better show the breadth of their programme of community events and activities.

The solution

The new Stretford Public Hall website is easy to navigate and works well across devices. The design is bright and colourful and never obstructs the core goal of delivering information clearly to the visitor. The events calendar is central to the new website, allowing visitors to search for both upcoming and historic events held at the venue, and book tickets. We trained the Stretford Public Hall staff in the management of their new website and assisted them in setting up HTML emails to match the new design.
