Bowdon Windows sell and install aluminium and wood windows and doors, with a focus on bi-folding doors. They are based in Bowdon and plan primarily to work in that locality. I worked with the company partners to design and develop their brand and their website.

Beyond the 4th Wall

Beyond The 4h Wall is a theatre show by Proud & Loud Arts. It is based around how people with disabilities feel about the care which they receive, how they can sometimes feel patronised by their carers & can even become isolated from the outside world.

Following successful Lowry shows in 2012, Proud & Loud announced a 2013 tour. I had worked with Proud & Loud Arts to create the original promotional literature for the Lowry shows, and was now commissioned to produce marketing materials for the tour based on these designs.

Emotionally Literate

“Emotionally Literate” is a pilot project initiated by performance company Aqueous Humour in partnership with The Octagon Theatre, Bolton and Awards for All.

Emotionally Literate is an affordable emotional literacy resource using masks for active/kinaesthetic learners. The purpose of the programme is to offer a tool to creatively explore emotional literacy as a barrier to learning.

In conjunction with the project Aqueous Humour produced a booklet with information about Emotional Literacy and how the programme works plus a few taster exercises. I was contracted for the design and layout of these booklets.

Ampersand Commerce is a multi-award winning, Magento Gold Solution Partner with extensive experience designing, developing and supporting scalable ecommerce solutions for international multichannel retailers.

I was contracted by Ampersand Commerce to implement phase 2 of their company website design. This was a complex build utilising LESS, and a responsive framework built on the HTML5 boilerplate and Twitter Bootstrap.

Lush Prize

The LUSH Prize is a major new initiative which will focus resources on bringing forward the day when all product safety testing takes place without the use of animals. The Lush Prize will focus pressure on toxicity testing for consumer products in a way which complements the many projects already addressing the use of animals in medical testing.

The prize consists of a £250,000 annual fund – the biggest prize in the non-animal testing sector.

I was contracted to provide front-end web development in the build of the LUSH Prize website, implementing designs produced by the Manchester-based agency Creative Concern.

As freelance practitioners, they have taught extensively in the UK and in Europe for over a decade. They have worked with established performance companies, universities, colleges, schools, community and charitable organisations.

Equal Voices required branding and the design and build of a new, responsive website.
